Minnesota Trunk Highway 371 Lane Expansion Project

TH 317- Nisswa to Jenkins has received the Minnesota ACEC Engineering Excellence 2018 Grand Award.

The Trunk Highway 371 (TH 371) project took place on a nine-mile stretch beginning in Nisswa, extending through Pequot Lakes and ending in Jenkins. The project expanded the highway from two lanes to four, installed three bridges, constructed an interchange with roundabouts at County State Aid Highway (CSAH) 11, incorporated two reduced conflict intersections and realigned the Paul Bunyan Trail, the longest continuously paved trail in the United States.
UMS provided Utility Designating, utility locating, utility conflict identification, and Utility coordination verification for this Design Build project.
