Mark Benner, a Minnesota native, joined UMS in October 2005 after 15 years in the utility industry researching, reviewing, and collecting utility field data using various geophysical locating equipment. Mark is specialized in state of the art 2D and 3D geophysical mapping utilizing the latest technological equipment such as the Trimble GNSS receiver, Trimble R8 GNSS System, Trimble 5600 robotic Total Station, the Optimal Ranging SPAR 300 electromagnetic induction system, and the Noggin Plus 250 MHz Smartcart GPR (Ground Penetrating Radar).
